Supportive Hip Brace

  • Post surgery hip braces enclose only the hip operated on.

  • This causes more strain on your other hip and arms for crutch time.

  • A brace that uses the other leg for support decreases the amount of weight you carry while on crutches

  • The goal is to reduce crutch time.

            Design​

  • Compression pants with a steel bar connected to a hinge for movement restriction

  • A strap to wrap around your hips that finishes below the knee

  • A wrap connecting waist band to hip straps with a pocket for extra stability
