Cathedral of Learning
Our Makerspace team made a gingerbread Cathedral of Learning. The base was Acrylic and we cut Gingerbread in the laser cutter. We made a modified gingerbread recipe for added strength and decreased flavor in the Posvar industrial kitchen.
Attach cut gingerbread
After making the acrylic base we glued the gingerbread after laser cutting it to the acrylic base.
Decoration
We decorated with icing, gumdrops, and a miniature cutout of the dean.
Final display
We turned on the LED lights and placed our "trees and deans". The victory lights were accomplished by using the frosted acrylic base.
